Everyday life

Translation: You are on a local bus and want to get off at the next stop. What do you usually do?

  • A Du ropar till föraren från din plats You call out to the driver from your seat
  • ✓ Du trycker på stoppknappen i god tid You press the stop button in good time
You stand by the door and wait
  • ✕ Du ringer till trafikbolaget You phone the transport company Your answer

Not quite.

On Swedish buses you press the stop button before the stop. Otherwise the bus often does not stop if nobody is waiting at the stop.
