L'articolo 12 della Costituzione stabilisce che la bandiera della Repubblica è il tricolore italiano: verde, bianco e rosso, a tre bande verticali di eguali dimensioni.

Article 12 of the Constitution states that the flag of the Republic is the Italian tricolour: green, white and red, in three vertical bands of equal size.
