Gandrīz.
The Council of the European Union, often called the Council of Ministers, is made up of the relevant national ministers. For example, an Irish minister attends and votes for Ireland. Most EU laws need the agreement of both the Council and the European Parliament.
Eiropas Savienības Padome, ko bieži sauc par Ministru padomi, sastāv no attiecīgajiem valstu ministriem. Piemēram, Īrijas ministrs piedalās un balso Īrijas vārdā. Lielākajai daļai ES tiesību aktu nepieciešama gan Padomes, gan Eiropas Parlamenta piekrišana.
