The Constitution was approved by the people in a plebiscite in July 1937 and came into force that December. Since then, any change to it must also be approved by the people in a referendum.
Die Verfassung wurde im Juli 1937 in einem Plebiszit vom Volk gebilligt und trat im Dezember desselben Jahres in Kraft. Seitdem muss jede Änderung ebenfalls in einem Referendum vom Volk gebilligt werden.
