Vsakdanje življenje
You have old Royal Mail stamps marked '1st' with no price printed on them. The price of a first class stamp has since gone up. What is true?
Prevod: Imate stare znamke Royal Mail z oznako »1st«, brez natisnjene cene.
-
A They are only valid if you add a 10p stamp Veljajo le, če dodate znamko za 10p
-
B They expired at the end of the year they were bought Potekle so ob koncu leta, ko so bile kupljene
-
✓ They are still valid for first class post at today's rate Še vedno veljajo za pošto prvega razreda po današnji ceni Tvoj odgovor
-
D They can only be used for letters inside your own town Uporabiti jih je mogoče le za pisma znotraj vašega mesta
Pravilno!
Stamps showing '1st' or '2nd' instead of a price are 'non-value indicator' stamps, so they stay valid at the current rate even after prices rise. Note that older everyday stamps without a barcode had to be swapped for barcoded ones from 2023.
