After the Glorious Revolution, the Bill of Rights said that the monarch could not make laws or raise taxes without Parliament's consent. It is a foundation of the UK's constitutional monarchy and parliamentary sovereignty.
Po Slávnej revolúcii Listina práv stanovila, že panovník nemôže vydávať zákony ani vyberať dane bez súhlasu parlamentu. Je základom britskej ústavnej monarchie a zvrchovanosti parlamentu.
