La Comisión Europea tiene el derecho de iniciativa: propone las leyes, que luego aprueban el Parlamento Europeo y el Consejo. El Tribunal de Justicia interpreta el derecho europeo y el Banco Central Europeo se ocupa de la política monetaria del euro.
The European Commission has the right of initiative: it proposes laws, which are then adopted by the European Parliament and the Council. The Court of Justice interprets European law and the European Central Bank handles the euro's monetary policy.
