Antes de la inscripción en el Registro Civil, la persona jura o promete fidelidad al Rey y obediencia a la Constitución y a las leyes. Además, normalmente debe renunciar a su nacionalidad anterior.
Before registration in the Civil Registry, the person swears or promises loyalty to the King and obedience to the Constitution and the laws. They must also normally renounce their previous nationality.
