Gleiches Wahlrecht heißt, dass keine Stimme mehr zählt als eine andere, zum Beispiel wegen Einkommen oder Geschlecht. Laut Verfassung ist das Wahlrecht außerdem allgemein, unmittelbar, persönlich, frei und geheim.
Equal suffrage means that no vote counts more than another, for example because of income or gender. According to the constitution, the right to vote is also universal, direct, personal, free and secret.
